Pinkfresh Studio April 2020 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop and Giveaway!

Hello, crafty friends!  I am so thrilled you stopped by today for Pinkfresh Studio's April 2020 Release Blog Hop!  You should be arriving here from Lea Lawson's blog.  You can head back to the Pinkfresh Studios blog if you've missed anyone.  I have the full blog hop linked below so you can see all of the gorgeous creations.  :)

I had so much fun creating projects with this release... there are so many fun and inspiring products to play with.  Out of all of the products, though, the new Keep Going stamp and die set immediately caught my eye.  Anything that combines a rainbow and florals is a sure win for me, and the whimsical illustrations just sealed the deal.  Not to mention the incredibly timely sentiment!

To start this card, I stamped my rainbow in the middle of a white cardstock panel (I love Neenah Solar White 110#) and did some quick pink ink blending.  I also added some white splatters because I'm becoming more and more of a believer that splatters make everything better.  LOL  I then decided to stitch up my rainbow.  This was a really fun and fast process since this sweet little rainbow only has three arcs.  I did a brick stitch, which is just a really simple backstitch where you offset the rows. I was feeling a retro vibe and made my rainbow pink, an earthy yellow and white.

I then stamped my floral image on a separate piece of cardstock and colored it in with Copic markers.  I didn't do any fancy blending here... just kept the coloring simple and whimsical.

All there was left to do was stamp and die cut my sentiment (I LOVE how this sentiment cuts out with the corresponding die), stacking several layers to create some dimension.  I added some clear sequins for just a bit of sparkle.  My daughter has already snatched up this card to send to some frontline workers, and I can't wait to make another!
