Watercolored Card with My Favorite Things Fanciful Roses Background Die

Hello, crafty friends!  I am so excited to have the opportunity to share this card with the GORGEOUS new Fanciful Roses background stamp from MFT.  This card was such a joy to create!

I started by stamping my image onto some Canson watercolor paper (the red rubber cling stamp makes a perfect impression).  I then did some loose watercoloring with Karin Brushmarkers.  I chose vibrant shades of pink, orange and yellow to add layers of color to the roses.  When finished, I filled in the negative spaces with some pool-colored watercolor.  And because everything is better with a little splatter, I added some white splatters all over the image with watered down white gouache.

To finish the card, I die cut my "hello" sentiment with MFT's Little Hello die three times, adhering them together for dimension.  After adhering the sentiment, I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze on top for some shine.  A few sparkling clear sequins and this card was finished!

I just love this gorgeous background and had so much fun creating this card.  Links to the products I used are below.  I hope you enjoyed this project!  I'll see you soon with some more floral projects made with beautiful floral stamps from MFT's newest release.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Spellbinders Effortless Sentiments Glimmer Card

Hello!  Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I am so happy to be here sharing this card I made with Spellbinders Effortless Sentiments designed by Laurie Willison.  This bright, cheerful card came together so quickly thanks to these truly effortless sentiments!

I started my card by foiling my "Thank You" sentiment with gold foil onto white cardstock, then die cutting the sentiment with a circle die.  I then die cut the gorgeous foliage pieces using Spellbinders Layered Foliage die out of the same 110# cardstock and used alcohol markers to color them in an array of bright rainbow-y hues.  I then arranged my foliage around the perimeter of a woodgrain-embossed white cardstock panel and used foam tape to create dimension for my center sentiment.  A few sparkly gold sequins and this card was finished!

I love the clean and simple look of this card... it really allows the glimmer sentiment to shine.  A link to these beautiful sentiments are below.  I participate in the Spellbinders affiliate program, which means that I receive a small commission when products are purchased through the links I share.  I truly appreciate your support!

I'm so thankful that you stopped by today!  I'll see you soon with another project with beautiful Spellbinders products!

Spellbinders Elegant Twist Die Cut and Glimmer Card

Hello, friends!  I'm so thrilled to be here sharing this card project made with Spellbinders's new Elegant Twist Rectangle dies and Elegant Twist Glimmer Sentiments.  I am have become so enamored of adding foiled accents to my cards using Spellbinders's Glimmer system, and this card was yet another opportunity to glimmer another project!

I really wanted to mix florals with these Elegant Twist Rectangles, so I paired them with one of my favorite floral sets.  I die cut my rectangle border from woodgrain paper, and die cut the center from some pink cardstock and a pretty chartreuse floral patterned paper.  I then used my Glimmer system to add the "You are on my mind" sentiment to the floral patterned paper with gold foil.  I adhered these to a pink watercolor background.

I then put together some pretty flowers with the Layered Colorful Blooms from Spellbinders's Small Die of the Month from April 2019.  I arranged these blooms around the perimeter of the twist rectangle.  A die cut "hello" from the same small die of the month set and some gold sequins, and this pretty card was finished!

I love the addition of classic borders and shapes to my die collection, and these Elegant Twist Rectangles and Borders are right at home!  I hope you enjoyed this project.  Links to the products I used are below.  I participate in the Spellbinders affiliate program, which means I receive a small commission at no cost to you when products are purchased through the links I share.  I truly appreciate your support!

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I'll be back soon with more Spellbinders projects.  Have a wonderful day!

Stitched Card with Simon Says Stamp's Etched Swirl Heart Die: SSS Crafty Hugs Release

Hello, crafty friends!  I am so happy to be here today sharing a card I made with Simon Says Stamp's new Etched Swirl Heart die from the Craft Hugs Release.  This release is full of products perfect for creating in these times where we're all finding ourselves more at home!

This card came together so easily thanks to this sweet little die.  I die cut my heart, traced it onto a piece of white 110# cardstock, and used the etched lines to poke holes for stitching.  I then used a rainbow-y array of threads to do a simple stem stitch along the stitch lines.  If you're not familiar with this stitch, it's really easy and is perfect for curvy lines like these!  I finished my card by stenciling a cloud background onto a card base and die cutting SSS's "Thinking of You" sentiment.

I just love it when a die comes along that's perfect for stitching like this one!  Links to the products I used are below.  You can find the rest of the release here... it is so fun!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I'll see you soon with another crafty project!
