Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember: Stitched Card Using The Boo Crew Stamp

Happy STAMPtember, everybody!  This is the best month of the year for stampers, and I am so thrilled you stopped by today as a part of the celebration!

How cute is the new Boo Crew Stamp set?  As soon as I saw it, I knew I was going to stitch that sentiment!  I started out my stamping the sentiment in black on black cardstock (yes, you can see it! *wink).  I cut a quick mask and masked off the sentiment before splattering on some white paint to create a night sky.

I then removed the mask and poked holes along the stamped sentiment.  I stitched the image using 3 strands of embroidery floss.   I love how you can switch up the colors and really make the words pop against a dark background!

I then chose a few little Halloween cuties and colored them using Copic markers.  After fussy cutting them and cutting a grass border using Lawn Fawn's Grassy Hillside borders, all that was left to do was assemble the card.  I used some foam tape to pop up the grass and other images.  I stamped some additional sentiments onto orange cardstock and added a few clear sequins for some sparkle.

I am so inspired by the products in this fantastic new release, and I hope you are, too!  And even better, I am so excited to be able to offer you this exclusive promo... how GREAT is this Hope die???
